Who We Work With
The Arts Office would like to thank its many supporters and partners.
We work with a wide range of organisations and businesses across all art forms in Dublin City. Please see an outline of some of these organisations below.
Visual Artists Ireland is the representative body for visual artists in Ireland. We provide practical support to visual artists in all art forms throughout their careers. Our advocacy, advice, and membership services combine with our professional development and art news centre to be the most comprehensive support and information service available to visual artists in Ireland today.
Theatre Forum’s mission is to be the collective voice for the performing arts, and to represent the many disparate views of the members – including theatre, dance and opera production companies, venues, festivals and individual artists.
Create is the national development agency for collaborative arts in social and community contexts. Our mission is to provide advice and support services to artists and arts organisations working collaboratively with communities in social and community contexts. Create supports artists across all artforms who work collaboratively with communities in different social and community contexts; be they communities of place or communities brought together by interest.
Dance Ireland is a resource and service organisation supporting the development of all forms of dance in Ireland. A membership organisation with over 200 members, we provide bespoke training and development initiatives for dancers, choreographers and companies at local, national and international levels. The Dance Ireland team are located in Dance House, a bespoke dance centre let under licence from Dublin City Council.
Dance House is a national centre of excellence, featuring six purpose-built dance rehearsal studios, an artists’ resource room, kitchen/green room area and exhibition spaces.
Arts Council of Ireland is the Irish government agency for developing the arts. We work in partnership with artists, arts organisations, public policy makers and others to build a central place for the arts in Irish life. Dublin City Council receives funding and consults with the Arts Council on matters relating to the provision of arts in Dublin.
Fáilte Ireland is the National Tourism Development Authority. Our role is to support the tourism industry and work to sustain Ireland as a high-quality and competitive tourism destination. We provide a range of practical business supports to help tourism businesses better manage and market their products and services.
