Programmes for Adults
Dublin City Arts Office is working to enhance programming for older people through partnerships within Dublin City Council’s Culture, Recreation, Amenity and Community Department, and within local neighbourhood organisations.
Adult Learning Programmes and Opportunities
Learning for adults in Dublin can be accessed through the services available from local public libraries, library art groups and classes, as well as public events and workshops provided by Dublin City Arts Office.
The LAB Gallery
Certain provision for adult and older audiences is produced in conjunction with The LAB Gallery, and its working partnerships and collaborations with third level colleges. Read more on The LAB Gallery’s programme of events.

Bealtaine / Creativity in Older Age
The Dublin City Arts Office / Bealtaine Programme is part of the larger Dublin City Council arts and cultural programme for older people in May. It offers a broad range of popular, once-off arts and cultural events including taster workshops, screenings, readings, talks, exhibitions, concerts and other performances, mixed with some more challenging opportunities to engage with contemporary arts practice.
At the heart of the Arts Office programme is an eight-year collaboration with CoisCéim Broadreach, which is co-funded by Dublin City Council Sport, Recreation and Community Development.
CoisCéim Broadreach was set up in 2006 in response to increasing demand for CoisCéim Dance Theatre to provide dance participation activities.
