Arts & Trauma - Seminar
16 June 2017 15.30 to 17:00
This seminar, in the context of the opening of two new exhibitions at the LAB, invites our exhibiting artists Anne Maree Barry and Patricia Cronin to join a panel discussion in re-considering the role of art and the artist in the face of trauma that is still very much live, present, or indeed ongoing.
How might art create a space for us to respond to embodied trauma? What is the role of art in a context where trauma which is felt in a place, but where stories might be suppressed or concealed, at the same time that their history still feels very much alive?
3.30pm to 5pm at The LAB
Admission is free but places are limited. Book here.
