Erasmus+ Permission to Wonder

Dublin City Arts Office’s team – Liz Coman, Hugh Fahey and Maura Carty - kicked off ‘Permission to Wonder’ in Alicante, Spain on 13 & 14 November with teams from Spain, Finland, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Denmark.

This 3-year project aims to support educators from local arts and education communities to test the Visual Thinking Strategies method to enhance learning with visual arts.  Dublin City Arts Office, as the lead partner, is responsible for project management of the overall project – including budget and financial management, contracts,  co-ordinating with Visual Thinking Strategies in the USA and partners for training events, quality and monitoring of the project for Leargas the local Erasmus+ agency and communication and dissemination. The Finnish Museum of Photography will be developing an image bank and VTS Nederlands is designing the research and evaluation framework to highlight the impact on educators practice over time.
