Residential Artists’ Studios

Dublin City Council Arts Office offers annual residential artist studios through an annual open call.
All properties are fully furnished with TV and Wi-Fi included. Rent is €750 per month, and the residency is offered to a single individual or entity, with residency arrangements to be agreed upon once awarded.
Applications are now open. The closing date for the receipt of proposals is 12 noon, on Thursday 30 October 2025
Albert Cottages consists of two properties located in Hampstead Park, Dublin 9, a tranquil parklands setting. Each cottage consists of two bedrooms, living area, kitchen and a small studio/work space. Albert Cottages is an 11 month residency.







St. Patrick’s Lodge is located in St. Patrick’s Park next to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin City. This is a busy city park. The property also consists of two bedrooms, living area, kitchen and a small studio/work space. St. Patrick's Lodge is an 11 month residency.


Wooden Buildings, located at East Essex Street in Temple Bar. It is a two bedroom apartment. All our properties are fully furnished and include complementary TV, phone and Wi-Fi service. Wooden Buildings will only be available for short term leases.
Please note: Due to the central location of the property in Temple Bar noise levels can be unpredictable. This residency is therefore not appropriate for artists who require controlled noise levels. Wooden Buildings is available for short term leases.




Details of the Awards
All of our properties are fully furnished and include complementary TV, phone and Wi-Fi service. Rent for each property is set at €750 per month. Spaces are for the furtherance of artistic practice and are designated for this express purpose.
The final month of occupation may be reduced by a few days to facilitate change over. The letting arrangement will be with a single individual or entity regardless of the number of persons occupying the property.
