The End, Once More is a solo exhibition by Tamsin Snow, curated by Margarita Cappock for The LAB Gallery, Dublin. Bringing together new and existing works across sculpture, photography and CGI animation, the exhibition explores cycles of obsolescence, repetition and renewal, and the increasingly unstable relationship between physical objects and their digital representations.

The title The End, Once More reflects a number of recurring ideas within the exhibition: technological obsolescence, fragmented bodies, architectural afterlives and the continual return of images and objects from the past. Rather than presenting the end as a single, conclusive event, the exhibition considers it as something repeatedly rehearsed, represented and begun again. Objects and images appear to reach the end of their original function, only to return in altered physical or digital forms.

Across the exhibition, Snow's works approach our psychological relationship to the material world, through objects and spaces that appear controlled, functional or familiar but gradually reveal states of uncertainty. Each work stages a failure or disturbance of containment, asking what happens when the structures intended to hold the body, the self, value or information no longer provide stability. Each work returns to something seemingly concluded, obsolete or fixed and sets it in motion once more.

About the artist
Tamsin Snow lives and works in Dublin. She works across sculpture and digital media, combining computer-generated video animation with physical materials to explore the intersections of architecture, technology, and the body. She constructs immersive environments that render the familiar strange or uncanny, prompting reflection on how perception is shaped by spatial and digital frameworks. Her recent work examines the shifting relationship between physical and virtual space, addressing themes of mortality, simulation, and the evolving status of the human subject. Snow is particularly interested in how architecture reflects ideological systems, and how its forms and materials carry psychological and political charge.

Snow holds an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art, London, and a BA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London. Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Finland, and the United States, in both institutional and independent contexts. She has received numerous awards and residencies, including the Internationales Künstlerhaus Villa Concordia Fellowship in Bamberg, Germany; a three-year studio membership at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, Dublin; the KulturKontakt Residency, Vienna; and the TBG+S/HIAP International Residency Exchange with the Helsinki International Artist Programme.
