Rehearsal Space Hire
The LAB offers four large rehearsal spaces to the arts community.
The LAB is a versatile venue with spaces to suit a variety of activities including rehearsals, workshops, auditions, classes, table reads, film and photo shoots, and other arts-related activities. We are centrally located a short walk from the Store Street LUAS stop, Connolly Station and Talbot Street.
Spaces can be hired on a half-day, full-day, evening, or weekly basis. Patrons have the use of the Green Room (kitchen / break room) on the second floor, with access to tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and fridge. This is ideal for lunchtime breaks, or as a waiting room for auditions. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. The LAB is fully wheelchair accessible. Please note that the rehearsal rooms are only available for arts-related activities, and we do not take bookings for meetings, conferences, information sessions and similar.
Booking a rehearsal space
Please check availability for the day you would like to book using the online calendar and then make a booking request using the single or multiple request form. Booking requests are manually reviewed to ensure they are suitable for the spaces, and when they are approved you will receive a link to make payment online.
