The 33rd Business to Arts Awards awards took place earlier this week in the National Concert Hall. Dublin City Arts Office were honoured to receive the Major Arts Partnership Award in collaboration with Xestra Asset Management for Artane Artist Studios.
The awards recognise the businesses, philanthropists, artists, and arts organisations that develop compelling creative partnerships enriching the lives of the people in Ireland.
Shortlisted partnerships focus on arts sponsorship, commissioning of artists, wellbeing, inclusion and access to arts, environmental impact, and community engagement. From businesses to philanthropic organisations and individuals, these awards highlight private sector entities that have fostered exceptional partnerships with artists and arts organisations.

Artane Artist Studios unveiled 12 purpose-built workspaces last year, offering permanent creative homes for local professional artists. This initiative not only supports artistic innovation but also pays tribute to the legacy of the Stardust Nightclub, with Xestra Asset Management working in close partnership with survivors and families affected by the tragedy.
As part of the Space to Create initiative, Artane Artist Studios is developing 60 new Artists Workspaces in Dublin supported by Dublin City Council, The Department of Culture, Communications and Sport and philanthropic donors.
By blending cultural remembrance with forward-thinking design, Artane Artist Studios is setting a new benchmark for public-private partnerships in arts infrastructure and shaping a vibrant future for Dublin’s creative community.
Award winners were presented with a limited edition award sculpture (pictured above) commissioned by Business to Arts and supported by Business to Arts Award Sculpture Commissioning Partner, Catapult. ‘Genova’ is created by craftsman Noel Donnellan from Co. Limerick. Inspired by Genesis (beginning) and Nova (new), the sculpture’s concept was developed as a seed growing into something greater. The stunning ceramic sculpture’s 23kt gold leaf interior represents the spark of creative potential, nurtured by purposeful partnerships.
